HardieWrap™ Flex Flashing is designed to easily stretch and seal around custom shapes including windows and doorsills to prevent water and air from entering the building.
HardieWrap Flex Flashing is made of butyl rubber adhesive, with a creped cross-laminated polyolefin backing and a polyethylene film release. It contains no asphalts, VOCs (volatile organic compounds) or solvents, which can reduce adhesion over time.
HardieWrap Flex Flashing comes in a convenient dispenser box for easy handling and has progressive adhesion for adjustments. After a 24-hour cure period, it provides a permanent seal and protects against water damage, mildew and energy loss. While HardieWrap Flex Flashing is designed to work with the HardieWrap weather barrier solution, it can be used under any siding.
Together, HardieWrap™ weather barrier, HardieWrap™ Flashing, HardieWrap™ Flex Flashing and HardieWrap™ Seam Tape form an important part of a building's weather protection envelope to prevent water damage, mildew and energy loss.1
